Frontal winds can be very strong (over 30 knots) due to the structure of the Sicilian Channel. NW (Maestrale) is a no-go, get your car and drive to West Sicily (Stagnone or Puzziteddu), other directions are ok. Frontal winds are also quite frequent, especially during spring (mainly S winds) and fall (mainly N winds).

📍 Getting There
🚶Short walk to the beach
You need a car, drive on the main road between Licata and Gela, close to Falconara you'll find a sign for the "Valoroso Village", enter and drive down to the beach. The car park could cost some Euros. In case of wind, you will probably see the kites from the road.
