Summer is really hot, bring lots of water. The water in the lagoon is warmer than the adjacent sea at all times. Early fall is magic.

🚗No walk to the beach
There is a local caretaker and you have to (as of 3/2009) pay 10 Azeri Manat per vehicle. You need a 4x4 to get there. Bring all you need with you - no shops, toilets, fresh water.
