Virtually on the equator, 30-35°C every day. The water is warm, only need shorts but wear something on your feet.
What to Expect
The reef is about 1km offshore so inside the water is generally flat to slight chop, outside the reef you have the swell of the Indian Ocean to play with. The lagoon out to the reef can be shallow in places at low tide, has the flattest water but watch out for the sea-urchins underfoot. Mid to high tide is fine.
