This beach works well with S, SW, and NW (also N and W) winds. The winter NW winds are the strongest winds and should be ridden right at the river mouth between the main beach and the sand bars. Bring big kites for S/SW winds: 14 to 20 sqm; smaller for NW winds: 10 to 16 sqm. Due to the shape of the beach and the many sand bars, one can find side and side/onshore riding areas at different locations around the spot.
When to Go
Wetsuit is required from mid-October until early-May.
